Mimosa trees are my favorite. This one sits on Russell's grandmothers old property beside Dean Electric. Everyday on my way to and from work I admire this tree. There are actually a couple of these along the road between the curve and the railroad tracks. I want to dig up a small one and plant it in my yard one of these days.

I love them too, I tried a pic but it did not look near as good as yours, of course it was one of the famous "standing in the middle of the raod hurry befroe you get ran over" shots..
My grandmother had them in her yard too!
I thought mimosa was champagne and orange juice! LOL. Just kidding! It's a very pretty photo, Anita...and to think that you didn't even have to risk your life to get it! LOL. We gotta stop taking pictures in the middle of the road!
Anita I have been thinking of doing the same thing for @ a week.
You beat me to it. I love Mimosa trees. They remind me of my childhood. Good memories. Ms. Lil Platt had one in her yard. I always thought it was so pretty. They remind me of her. A Wonderful LADY!
I'll dotto all the above. I just love them. My favorite Aunt had one in her yard.
The blooms almost look like the fireweed here. But, fireweed is a weed that grows from the ground. Not on a tree!
Oh and I love the mimosa Amy was talking about!!
Very nice shot. I've always loved the "fuzzy flowers".
