Live Oak Avenue

This was Russell's idea for my blog. This is a pic of the marker and the Oaks on the drive going up to the main house on Brewton. I never paid much attention to the marker before. I thought it was a tombstone!! Now that I know what it is I think it's pretty cool. I am always in awe of the oak lined drives that all the plantations have, it's nice to know the story behind them.....

I love the oak-lined drives too. One of my favorite things about this area. They are such beautiful old trees.

I think we all love those tree lined roads. They seem more peacfull to be driving on. No road rage there.

I love those oak tree lined drives!! I always wanted to plant those in my driveway, but I guess I would have needed to start it like 80 years ago!!! LOL. It is always pretty cool knowing the history behind all the plantations!!

Very Pretty!
